December LJ yellowtail . Happy New Year ! - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Got lucky on Dec.29 Sat. at LJ.

Dropper loop with squid at 130' brought this yellowtail up from the deep.
Was targeting rockfish but welcome any yellowtail that want to play .
Rockfish were difficult , plenty whitefish but on the small side.

1 yellow
4 rockfish
1 sheephead
2 scorpion (released)
9 whitefish
