Dorado Redemption
I was able to buy bait right away this morning. Lots of life on the water. I caught a bunch of Bonita, released. That's fun until you realize your line is all twisted and nicked for nothing. I got into a school of Needlefish. (Had no idea those strange looking things swam in schools.) Just like Bonita they are fun to play with but they trash your line. Also released a few undersize Pargo. So I had lots of action but just one small Cabrilla to show for it.
Then I found myself back at the same place at the same time of day using the same live Sardinas as before, but this time I hooked his big brother. Great fight making multiple runs and some big jumps. Lotsa fun. Definitely made up for catching that little guy the other day. I could squeeze in one last trip before we have to head home, but maybe I'll quit while I'm ahead. PS. Sorry no video or on the water shots. I'm lacking in GoPro skills |
