SD bay
Original plan was to fish Lajolla. Arrived at the launch around 7:30 and the waves were lookin between 1-3’ but right behind each other. Didn’t have leashes and was more nervous about landing rather then launching.
Off I went to Kellogg’s st launch off of rosecrans. Made my way to the bait barge and bought a pricey scoop of healthy good size dines. Drifted and trolled the bottom for 3 bass (sandbass, calico, spotty), 4 halis ranging in size from 8” to 18”. Water was cold and tide was low from the time I launched to 3, wind was up. Overall a good day without any keepers. |
