Outfall discharge at the plant was thousands of gallons per minute and 20 degrees warmer than the water going in (delta T: 20F) Now, it's closer to 5 degrees and way less water flow.

But the good new is this, Edison planted kelp and reefs starting at San Mateo point going north towards T Street. Recently is was determined that the fish population of those new reefs is not as large as expected, therefore Edison must place more reefs in the area. That's good news for those who like to fish that area, like Cabo John!!
