Stock pond management.......
On the ranch we would call this a "management buck", an old trophy that did it's job and has little to offer the herd. She had some crazy scratches on the other side, it looked like she was attacked by a bear (Knothead).
I went fishing at the stock pond (La Jolla), to make sure the Yellowtail are where I left them. Sure enough, the stock is doing well and just one other kayak angler around (I hate summer crowds). Yellowtail fight so hard, even with half a tail I took an incredible sleigh ride. Fortunatly Paul has a Hobie Adventure, and managed to catch up for a photo. One beautiful Sardine was sent to the depths, and one ugly Yellowtail came back up.
