Trouble with hobie vantage ct seat
So I went out on the outback today for the first time in about a month to SD bay to practice not catching halibut and when I got out to the point and made my turn to ride the tide/wind back in I decided to recline my seat and take a load off. The wind turned south and when I went to bring my seat back up to normal upright position it wouldn't budge. The little release lever moves like normal, but the cable doesn't retract, this left for a pretty uncomfortable paddle back in.
Has anyone experienced this? I am sure I can get it addressed under warranty but I would rather just fix it myself if its doable. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance! Patrick |
