Shorty's Adventures (West Aussie)
Well Saturday june 7th marked my first real fishing trip in the 2nd hand Extreme i picked up some days ago, it was a real toss up whether i would buy it, some punters saying its great for calm waters only, Douglas Gaxiola from here gave me a full run down on the extreme and put my mind at rest in the fact it can handle some rough stuff as well,so it was not long after that it was on my roof rack heading to my place.
I met Ian Saturday morning, this was the first time i have ever seen a real live yak set up in the flesh, despite spending my summers down the beach its still a fairly rare sport in this backwater city. Ian was the star of the show,,filling up his bag with smaller type fish while anchored up behind Shag Island, while i drifted with a whole quid on one rod and cast lures for Tailor (bluefish) in the white water. I never caught a fish but had a great fishing trip, heres a couple of pictures,,cheers Shorty.
