75 pound son catches a 60 pound halibut off his Hobie Outback: Cook Inlet, AK
Well it's been a while so time for another update. Things have been rather slow, but in August I did manage to land a chinook making it 12 consecutive months I have landed a Chinook off my kayak here in Alaska! Even got an article n the State Newspaper over it: http://www.adn.com/article/20150820/...ery-month-year
But that's not the main story today! I took my son out halibut fishing over labor day weekend and he hammers a 60 pound halibut! Almost as big as he is but not quite. Gives him another goal to catch one as big as he is! C'mon up and give it a try!!! heck, even a ten year old can do it!!! Let's fish! Here's the video: https://youtu.be/zIynGwbuLvw A few still pics: |
