If you are fishing for yellows, 30 lb leader will be perfect. I use it with both 65 and 50 lb braid and I can not break it under super load. Much easier to work with as well. Just switched over to the jr knot by John Collins and it works great and is very easy to tie. You can youtube it for demo. Good luck.

Thanks. Should have clarified that this is my 50# setup. Already set on 25, 30 and 40 pound setups. This is for the bruisers
