I vowed to not contribute to forums ever again but most on this forum seem to be good guys so I decided I've been lurking here long enough and thought I'd better contribute SOMETHING. My outings pale compared to others posted here but if they help a guy with a couple hours catch a few more bay bass before sunset, it's good. Hopefully this works...
Yesterday, launched at Pt Fermin about 6:30 to glassy conditions and small surf. Threw a variety of stuff for not much. I had my best luck fishing a freshwater plastic crawfish bait on a sled head real slow. That yielded a number of small bass and one decent one. Had no luck with swim baits. Many, many short bites today and I had a number of fish come unbuttoned early. Still a fun morning in really nice conditions.
