Avet MXJ - Clicker / Trolling question?
Hey guys,
I used my Avet MXJ the other day for the first time on the kayak. I was wondering if any other kayak/avet owners have figured out a way to adjust the spool tension while the the reel is in "bait" or "free spool" while the clicker is on? During trolling the tension is a little soft and those greenies can take line, especially with a wieght on the low rig. I found a small (RCH) area where the drag is barely engaged that I used with the clicker while trolling. I felt like it had too much resistance, but it was the best I could do on the water. I have some thoughts and rigging ideas, but I'd like to hear from you Avet owners. It's a nice reel, but now I remember why I sold my Accurate. Anyway thanks in advance! Hook up!
