Lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you!
Well the weather was better than last weekend becuse of actual sunshine!
I call this sunny with a high probability of Dolphins. Yes, the Dolphins were abundant today in La Jolla. I found myself in a school that just would not stop. After what seemed to be 15-minutes of being surrounded I decide to take some video. Naturally, the action diminished once I started recording. Click here if you like Dolphins! As for fishing, it started out tough making-bait and then the doggies stole my first batch of greenies. Fortunately, I found a couple more schools of the green kind mid-day. Nice to hook-up with some mega-macs and sizeable Barracuda as well to pass the time. The highlight of the day was my PB Yellowtail catch. This guy was 38-inches and 31-pounds! He was down on the corner at about high noon and I think he swallowed a basketball! Thanks to fellow yakers for the on-the-water and beach photos! Enjoy the fish porn. I'm going to dinner now. Big Yellowtail collar and ribs on the grill! At the beach: On The Water: On The Butcher Table: On The Yak: ...well my fish scale only goes to 25-lbs. It easily bottomed out. So instead, I used the old stand on the bathroom scale and then stand on it with the fish trick. Without showing my math and the revealing my weight...this guy was 31-lbs! I'm still smiling! |
