It all comes down to personal preference my friend. I have the #30-#60 and the #30-#80. I prefer the #30-#60 for a #30 bait-stick. I use a Shimano Torium 16 on this rod and feel this is a very balanced set-up. I caught two White Seabass over #50 last spring on that set-up and feel that rod is made for those scary violent head-shakes. I would use the Baja Special for the Yo-Yo fishing since the narrow spool is great for tracking line quickly and the torque is made for pulling hard on big fish (perfect for this time of year). Unless you really need the money both items fit into any serious kayak-anglers arsenal.
