8/6 wfo bloodbath!
I know its not a yak report but fishing is fishing lol i took lazy fishing option with the boat, Left home at 230 to get to si at 530. Got to a mess at the barge and by 645 we have a healthy scoop of CHOVIES!!! Plug in the numbers and off we go. Get to the zone lots of boats but no fish so we jog NW and on our run we come across the most beautiful sight! Breaking fish with no birds and no boats, we had it all to ourselves and it stayed that way for the next 3 hours while we basically limited out for three. Quality fish 25+ with some toads mixed in.
Andrea got her first yft a hefty one at that Once all of our cool storage space was filled, kill bag was overflowing and even our drink cooler had become a dressed tuna holding area lol we called it, trading in the area for more ice to some people for a hand off and home bound, hooked a couple more yft and a yt on paddys off the nw corner of 9 all in all a great day Sorry not many pictures busy catching fish my buddy took lots of gopro from the action hope to have soon, it was awesome breaking fish all around us the entire time on gopro every bait got but immediately and one even got bit dipping it in te water at the boat before the cast! |
