Attached to the hull and got to hot... You keep it stored outside I suppose? Easy fix, scrape off that hardened crap and spend $1.98 at Lowes for some plumbers putty for an in hull mount. I've got a few pictures on this thread from a year or so ago. Easy and semi permanent. Good luck
