Tidelands 4/6/14
Hit up Tidelands again this weekend with Ed. Conditions were awesome all morning, and tons of kayaks on the water. I think I counted 15 not counting us. The fishing was good as always. A good mix between legal sized bass and smaller halibut. Ran into a few fimiliar faces, one being ToddOne. Swung into Joe's for lunch as always. The fish were wanting a little bigger profile baits. 3/4oz blades and 5" swimbaits seemed to be the ticket in white colors.
We plan on repeating the process again this Saturday for anyone wanting to join in. Here are a couple pix. Managed one legal halibut with another that was a board stretcher and sent away to grow bigger for another day. I made sure I caught the first fish on my newly wrapped REVC 76 MH-SB. This rod is sick! Absolutely perfect for throwing 1oz-2oz swimbaits or light A-Rig.
