DP Butt Cherry 2/22

Early Sat morning, on the water by 7; chilly off shores blending into what was killer day on the water. Water was bout 59 degrees, not too much change in tide but enough to stir up a bite once the tide switched. One short sand bass on plastics, released, and one chubby sculpin on Chovies from the bait receiver. Started drifting a reverse dropper loop and scored my first legal butt, 27''. ONly took 3 years but worth the wait for sure. Didn't really feel any head shakes and actually he came up fairly easily, but he went ape shit one i got the game clip in. Off the water by 12, butt on the table by 6. Life is good.
