I know i haven't contributed to this site.

Didnt really get into fishing my kayak much as my buddy I kayaked with moved right after I picked this up.

Hoping someone could put this to more use than I did.I got to fish it 3 times. Always stored suspended in the garage. Great condition.

Looking to sell a 15' Islander Kayak. It's the Ventura model.

Has two hatches, one in front and one behind the seat. Both easily accessible.

2 Inset rod holders, one on either side of the rear of the seat.

Also has a foot operated rudder which I found to be helpful when a breeze picks up and for fighting. You can easily lift it out or drop it in the water with a cord to the right of the seat.

Accessories I have for the kayak include:

Small gaff

Paddle

Seat

Crate with 4 pvc rod holders that straps down right behind the seat.

100sx Hummingbird F/F. Has screen mount right in front of the seat. Transducer is mounted inside of the rear hatch. Also has the battery box inside rear hatch. Comes with a battery, but I don't know it still holds a charge.

A pvc dolly for easy maneuvering from the parking to the surf.


I have found this kayak to be stable and very easy to launch and land. Fighting fish in this was no problem at all.
Easy to load and unload for one person was no problem at all.
