La Jolla Noob Question

I'm new to the whole saltwater kayak fishing experience and had a question about launching out of La Jolla (avenida de la playa). In the past I've done a lot of kayak fishing in sit in kayaks on lakes. I just purchased my first fishing kayak and it is a large and heavy kayak and must be transported by a cart, unless I have a partner help with carrying the load.

When you all launch from avenida de la playa, do you wheel your kayaks to the beach and carry the cart back to your vehicle and leave the kayak unattended? Or do you drop the kayak off on the beach and go park your vehicle?

Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!
