Thank you all for your kind words. On the other fishing boards, my outing reports are dubbed “travel logs”.

I had only one kind of bait which has been a great producer for me in the past. Sorry I cannot share it on line.

On the way back I did not want to lose ground dealing with fishing. If I had a better kayak, it would have been different.

Unfortunately, taking a personal kayak there is not practical. Maybe the reason there is little or no kayak report from Catalina.
