Newport 5-14

Planning on hitting Newport tomorrow 5-14-13.

Game plan is to look for some threshers to start then hit the kelp in search of white sea bass, halibut, and calicos. I dont have any rockfish spots.

I've been seeing a lot of guys posting up about fishing Newport on here lately. That's where I go 99% of the time so I know it fairly well. With more guys on the water there is always more to learn. I'd like for as many guys from here to join me and we'll all get on the fish together.

Planning on launching 7:00ish at the Coast Guard Base.

I'll be offloading from a black Nissan Frontier and will be fishing in a dune colored Hobie Revo 11.

Channel 19 on the VHF.

Who's in?
