HOMEGUARD FOR HOBIE
When is the right time to post?
Right before or right after that next approaching front? Daily Reports? One week? Two weeks? Two Months?.. Once posted this surely will drive a few computer-potatoes out in search of one to call their own, landing quite possibly on a similar day that fish will have to eat somewhere along our Southern California coastline.. I woke up early & skipped breakfast as usual on this particular day to start it bright & right, only to find out five hundred boats had taken up anchor out on the scene!?!.. Jockeying for position only to get fouled up or break off within two minutes was the inevitable looming feeling to say the least. By the shadows casted you will determine that it was a single brunch bite. Not a chew from a slew. Many a angry boaters gave the stink eye as I passed em by on this high speed sleigh ride out into the wide open...I was going to tag & release this large model for prosperity, but one of his gills seemed to have sustained an injury during battle deeming this model for harvest upon closer inspection.. Surface Water Temp 58.7 / Slight 5+ variable winds. Scarce bait. Hit on the approaching peak slack, about 45 min till.. No breakfast: $0.00 PB&J sandwich: $0.75 (4) Power Aids: $6.00 Gas: $50.00 20# of ice: $6.00 Watching the entire 500 strong flotilla canyon party leave exotic-empty handed as I head in for twenty pounds of ice: Priceless • • • • • R.I.P. Ol' Soldier..
