Got on the water at around 7:30, headed out of the harbor to the kelp by the point. Water was nice and calm, only a bit of wind in the mid morning but it was an amazing day on the water.

Around 9 caught my first halibut on a small sardine. As you can see he is a short so he went free, but still happy to finally catch my first halibut.

Headed south to the pipeline and the rest of the day was rather slow drifting around for more halibut. Off the water by 4pm with nothing else.
