I think this has alot to do with it. Dirt cheap malibu kayaks at those sales so everyone buys them instead of used ones. I even picked up 2 x factors at one of the sales a few months back thinking i could sell my trident, yea didnt work as planned and now i have 3 yaks taking up my whole garage, its amazing how much room 3 yaks and gear take up. Now which yak i like better is a different story, lol i would trust the trident more farther off shore and in bigger waves like Monterey in those 20 footers i kayaked in due to that tridents flex with the waves where the malibus rigid plastic just hammers the waves which would turn out bad, but other than that the x factors storage options have a trident beat except for the rod pod that is the best! |
