Thought I'd share this info on GWS anatomy.
http://www.digitalfishlibrary.org/featured/great_white/ Check out the slide show on the dissection of a GWS. If I were to find myself on top of one, it might be nice to know where to stab at it with a knife . Somehow, punching at the nose or gills seems like you are just going to annoy the taxman to no end. Note the description on the 'Internal Organs' slide: " Exploration of the stomach contents should prove to be interesting. White sharks do not have a discriminating palate. They eat a wide range of fishes and invertebrates as well as larger marine animals like porpoises, dolphins, seals, sea lions and even turtles and sea birds. Car tires and cuckoo clocks are among the items purportedly found in the bellies of these sharks – although these accounts have not been verified. " After reading all those posts on colors and camouflage... the real truth may be that Mikey will take a Bite out of anything or anyone if he chooses to... |
