Found a hole to put it in
Washing machine outside NPH in the AM. Couldn't make bait anyways. Fished the harbor starting at the bait barge. Got a 12" calico, my personal best . Worked my way to that private island and found a Spottie hole. Caught four, one of which had to be close to 16" (I'm not good at guessing weight) for another PB.
There was pretty good water movement inside the bay and I was able to learn how to use the wind and my drift to work under the slips. Olive, chartuse & white was the color combo of the day. Highlight of the day was when I was able to impress a SUP hottie . She was watching me fight that PB Spottie and let out a "woah!" when it broke the surface thrashing. |
