South Bay Report / May 17th
OCEANSIDE DIVE & KAYAK CENTER REPORT MAY 17TH, 2012
'Show your baits no mercy..' Had a late start, and so did the fishies?.. Took awhile to find their pattern, or maybe I should have had Bob around? Either way I had a great time and met up with our fellow boardie Garcia who scored the 1st fish of the day! Unfortunately, he bailed too early & before the bite even turned on. I finished scouring the area solo N, E, S & W & found the mother of all hang-out ledges, while I purposely tried to destroy the NEW 2012 'Z-Man PaddlerZ bait all day, the same one. Their ElaZtech more than stood up to its name, and couldnt be beaten, even with 15+ angry toothy Spotties attacking it.. With a name boasting 10X tough, you might think the overall bait is harder than the competitions pour. The complete opposite is the result!. Its more like 10X of a softer bait, than a traditional pour and can be destroyed over and over asking for more punishment. "Thank you sir, may I have another?!.." Proof is in the pudding. STEP ONE: LAND EM'! STEP TWO: RIP YOUR BAITS TAIL FROM A SPOTTYS MOUTH STEP THREE: REPEAT ALL DAY LONG.... •
