Choosing a yak

Hey guys
This decision is haunting me, I bought a zodiac with a buddy two years ago and realized that a boat wasnt right for a college budget so it was sold returning 1k to me. Now I am just dying to own something to take me on the water. One thing that is keeping me from pulling the trigger is my need to buy a rack for my honda still. I dont want to buy a paddle style boat then wish I had bought a hobie but I am torn financially. Anyone want to chime in and just give me the courage to pay up for something.

-I am leaning towards a used revo right now

Oh and I am a 3rd year at UCSD, recently transferred from grossmont, so I am living in LJ
