day of 1st

Took the Outback one last time to be sure before I bought the right one today. Put a fork I'm me I'm... SOLD on Everything the Outback does and is a perfect fit. Im super stoked on the sight casting, deck space and Dallas my 9 year old could come with me and fish a huge plus she stay dry. Her 1st kayak fishing adventure she loved it. We paddle the Carlsbad Lagoon today and wind and weather was perfect. Ive fished the Lagoon for years on a kayak and never caught a WSB in the middle section before. I caught 5 total all 13-15 inch. Lose from the cage? little fighters. Along with the same old dinky Spotties 5-9 inch. The bite dropped off and I peddle back to get Dallas out for her 1st fish and she landed the biggest Spottie of the day. Im a pig in mud with my new Yak can't wait to pick it up in the morning up at Oceanside OEX. With all the fixings. Thanks RICK NATE and Doctor Drew for all the love the past few years. Looking forward to more good times fellow Addicts here I come.
