not a bad for a monday
Paddled out of NPH this morning at about 6:30, slightly windy the incoming tide made it alittle harder to paddle out then usual but nothing too bad. There was virtually no swell outside the harbor. Bait was scattered around, macs chasing sardines. I jigged up a few small macs and pinned one down and drifted him just outside the harbor while I casted around for more bait. Didn't take long for someone to become interested and my reel started clicking. Whack, click, whack, click,.......ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzing! Fish on! Got some good jumps out of him on the first run, brought him in, woke him up and got a couple more runs where he stayed mostly below me. Got him flipped, cleaned and bleed with the help of another buddy on a yak, and called it an early day.here's a shot of him after he was cleaned, was a lot fatter.thresher taco. Can't wait to get a gopro so i can start filming this. I'm having a blast!
