There are a few solutions to your wet feet problem.

Start off with some good socks so that if by chance moisture gets in or your feet sweat it pulls the moisture away from you feet keeping them warm and dry. Try the SeasonFive socks, waterproof/windproof/breathable. They have them at OEX in Mission Bay. http://www.seasonfive.com/products-p...r-sock-unisex/

Next, upgrade your pants to something that is tried and tested. I have a pair of IR paddling pants and a drytop that work amazing. I don't have the dry pants but if they work as good as their drytops they will solve your problem. Combine these with a pair of booties (so you aren't walking on the dry socks reducing ware). http://www.immersionresearch.com/sto...roduct=6786790

The kokatat dry bibs work extremely good as well.

Or go all out and get an entire dry suit. Pricey but completely dry. I've taken some swims out of my white water kayak in the winter and stayed dry. I like the IR suit but the Kokatat one is good too.

Feel free to email me with any more questions. I have been kayaking (white water, ocean and sit on top) for over 15 years now.
