10/3 Big Bay Bassing
Quick report for SD Bay from Sunday morning..........
Launched the yak at high tide around 0600. Got to my first spot just in time for the beginning of the out going tide. Spotties were on the chew big time. Caught at least 10 spotties and a couple sandies while working the drift. Made a location move and picked it right back up again with a more mixed bass including a pig spottie. Off the water by 1100. Conditions were great, cool and overcast, moving tide, and little wind. C&R'ed about 20 bass. Caught using nuclear chicken jerk baits, chartruese/white swimming mullets, and dark swim baits and dual tailed grubs covered in UNI Butter. Peace, Spyder |
