Hooping in the LBC

Went out with my buddy Tone. Launched and paddled out with some strong head winds, numerous swells that caused my bow to slightly dip into the water. First net dropped just after sunset, last one dropped within 15min, five nets total.

First pull was about 30 min after the first net was dropped, first 5 pulls produced a lobster that I'm sure was legal but better safe than sorry and a shorty, let the nets sit around for another 15 - 20 min and pulled again. Second set produced a keeper, another shorty and some crab

That was pretty much it for the night, just as fast as the crawl started it ende, not bad for the maiden lobster trip. In the water after 6 and home by 11pm, wife gets lobster and steak tomorrow....good times!!
