MB lobster report

the three of us lunched in MB and was out on the grounds and soaking bait around 12:30. it was beautiful out there!! low to no wind not much of a drift and not the zoo i was expecting. everyone played nice and kept good separation between their claims, matter of fact there weren't that many people out there. even the drivers seems to avoid the nets.
there was a lot of activity around the dredge when we first got there and it was towed out about three, so it looks like they will be dredging soon.

i pulled three shorts, my partners pulled a lot more bugz but only came up with two legals.
now that i have a feel for pulling off a kayak i know what i need to do for the next trip.
i need to put more bait in the cages or smaller cages!! i also need to figure out an easier way to restock the cages. bailing wire and or zip ties are too much of a pain with the hoop sitting in your lap and the peddles getting in the way.
less slack in the rope. im sure this would really help if there was a heavy current.

i was happy with the home made lighting made out of an old low voltage lawn light and the battery operated promar light sticks worked great!! lets see how long they last. i did notice that if you leave the promar light sticks out in the direct sun for too long they turn blackish, didnt seems to affect them too much but something to watch out for.

all in all great night with good people, no stress and Wyatt seemed to go home happy.
