surf launch

i launched at shores for first time today.surf was small but still a little sketched.i made it out OK but after i made it out i thought it is probably a good idea to practice launching and landing.i stowed my rods and paddled in man i am glad i did i f-ing found out first hand what yard sale means.i left my ram mount and vhf in my crate in tank well.shit i thought landing would be a no brain er how tuff could it be?holy crap i couldn't keep the yak straight and over i went.surf was small what will happen when it is larger?well i didn't even wet a line i figured i better hang out and practice the surf.so i will ask with a red face how do you keep the fricking yak straight on landing landed 3 times and biffed it every time.the vhf was a cheap wally mart midland brand so it didn't hurt losing it to bad
