I was. I only got to use this exact combo once. I used it for bottom fishing it was a blast. I got some rock fish, some sculpin, and some sand bass on it, but then my wife had a baby so I haven't had a chance to go out since the end of September.

A few months before I got this outfit, I used a similar one to get a nice halibut, that's what sold me on the slow pitching set up. It's a super fun way to fish, and I'm not going away from it, just gonna swap some of the components to fit my style a little better.

Tbh I would keep the rod if I didn't want to use a silver and red reel lol. I wasn't a big fan of the accurate tern, but that's probably because it's a star drag and I typically like a lever drag.
