SOLD- 2020 Hobie Passport 12 w/ FF & Upgrades
Selling my 2020 Hobie Passport 12.0 setup. Recently got into an Outback and looking to the this in the hands of someone that wants to fish it! This kayak has been great to me and really helped me get my feet wet in the kayak fishing world. Only had this since January this year and I've taken it out just about every week since and washed every part of it with fresh water HEAVILY after every use. Caught lots of species on this thing from Yellowtail to a big soupfin shark. It's very stable and functions very well. I've taken it 5 miles out from Dana Point chasing birds and launched/landed a La Jolla and it manages both no problem, even in ugly conditions. Really have no bad things to say about this yak. Here is a breakdown of what I am including with "new" pricing:
$1,599 Hobie Mirage Passport 12- Slate Blue (standard equipment included- Mirage Drive, seat, paddle, rudder, etc.) $299 Lowrance Hook2 5" Fish finder (Sonar, downscan, split screen, maps etc.) $70 12v FF Battery w/ Marine Connector (I do not have the charger) $10 Ram mount $19.98 Yakattack Rod Holder $250 Hobie Trax 2 Cart $150 Hobie Mirage Turbo Fin Upgrade Kit $150 Hobie Twist-N-Seal Rectangular Hatch upgrade $30 Hobie Rectangular Hatch Drop-In Bucket $25 Hobie Deep Gear Bucket (for 8" round hatch) $19 Yakattack Gear Rail $50 RAM Transducer Arm Mount w/ Ball mount $20 Rail-Mount Cup Holder (Very important gear!!) $20 Upgraded Bow/Stern Carry Handles Total: $2,711.98 Asking: $2100 Shoot me an offer! Located in Mission Viejo, CA. Willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet. Want to sell as a package only, not looking to part things out, sorry! (To sweeten the deal, I might be convinced to throw in some bluefin or yellowtail vacuum-sealed fillets ) More Details: Hull: Tried to get the best pictures I could. Hull has some wear in the main contact points with the ground from use at some harbors, etc. Several holes have been added on the topside: one for the transducer/power lines to the FF, one behind the seat to run the transducer line to the RAM arm mount. Lowrance Hook5 FF/Transducer: This is actually the FF that came with the used Outback I purchased, so I don't have much experience with it. My setup was a Garmin Echomap with a much larger transducer that I now have added to my current kayak. This is why I had to use the RAM arm mount because the transducer did not fit in the "Lowrance-Ready" mounting area in the bottom of the kayak. I did not install most of the wiring/etc. on this kayak yet because I don't know who will be purchasing the kayak and how they plan to mount and things, so I thought I'd leave that option up to them and figure it out from there. I have everything needed to install it though. And I don't mind helping with the mounting/etc. if someone wants to install it in the "Lowrance-Ready" area or use the Ram ARM mount. Also, when I got my current kayak, the original owner had to keep his battery charger, so this one does not have one. They're pretty cheap from OEX though! Tried to describe this to the best of my ability. Feel free to ask any questions if I didn't cover or describe something. Really don't want to part things out and sell as a whole package. Photos below! Thanks for looking! Last edited by Salty; 11-06-2020 at 07:37 PM. |
