Dinner tonight

With unfavorable conditions at La Jolla, we decided to take our kayaks up to Dana Point yesterday for halibut. Launched at sunrise, fished until sunset. We were jonesin' for our first WCW points, and we figured we had our best chance up there.
Around 11:00AM after working Doheny beach all morning with plugs, plastics, and live 'dines, Julie was rewarded with this:

It weighed 6lbs, measuring 25 inches. Tape shot will accompany WCW submission. Briefly considered the extra few points for C&R, but opted for a couple great meals instead.
It was the only legal fish of almost 20 caught. Aaron had one that measured 22.5" with mouth open, only 21" mouth shut.
Julie continues her halibut hot streak at Dana, while Aaron continues to be relagated to net man.
