I fished 1/2 a session with 2/3 of a fly rod.
Hit the water at 6:20.
First fish 12 inch spotty.

With a very mushy tide I was thinking that is all I might get.
But I was Wrong. I had enough to keep me interested.
Then the big rock was hooked and I miss played in into a broken fly rod.
So what do you do with 2/3 of a fly rod, you wrap the bottom end and continue fishing.
I caught 8 fish in 2.5 hours and 4 on 2/3 of a fly rod.
This was the last one. 13.5 inches.

Water temp. 67.5 Deg.
Called it a day at 9:00..

So much for American Tackle home build fly rods, Back to Echo.
