Headed out and launched around 5am. Was on rushed morning trip due to buddy having plans. By about 6am I had a treble hook into my thumb..

. deep. My buddy hasn’t caught a yellow so I toughed it out and kept Fishing. Managed to disconnect the treble from the lure which helped and only hurt when I accidentally hit it. No yellows but we did hook up on a few Calicos and a few bottom fish. Back in by 10:00. Went to urgent care doctor says “looks like you caught something.” He did a great job. Snipped the treble off and the poked it through until it slid right out. If it was a Saturday I would have downed some tequila and did it myself but I have work tomorrow

I’ll spare you all the bloody photos of it coming out.
And still better then going to work
