Surface iron rod opinion

I know winter is coming and surface iron fishing for yellowtail is slowing down but I wanted some input on a good rod for throwing tady 45s and c's.

Currently I'm debating between phenix abyss 809 and cousins cjb 80m. Reel I'm thinking of is penn fathom 25n.

Any thoughts? It does not have to be one of those two rods. Any input is appreciated.
