Hers was bigger

After all the commotion last week with the bft my lady was anxious to get in on the action!

Launched around 545. Made a few Spanish and went off to the corner. Not much going on so we decided to head further out on search of more life.

DISCLAIMER- if you have a nice hobie and your lady has a paddle kayak, she will want to trade and leave you paddling her crappy yak.....

So we ended up doing a kayak swap in 180 ft of water. She had the hobie and the fish Finder so I was pretty much fishing blind :/

We made our way toward where I caught the tuna and sure enough "jaaaaaaames it's zipping"!!!!!!!

Just like clock work she did exactly what she was supposed to! Wait 5 seconds, bring the line in front of the reel, hold on tight, push the lever to strike, and finally take the clicker off!

"WOAH JAMES it's taking line! Shit my arm! I can't gain any line!"

She was a champ and pulled the fish off the bottom and right to my gaff.

Bled gilled gutted!

We start heading in and my number gets called! Quick fight and another one in the boat.

Back before 11 and fish in hand!

Btw were going to look at another hobie for her now !
