Finally a Yellowtail on a yellow Yak!

First off thanks to BWE for the great fishing report and wealth of knowledge I was able to gain before landing my first yellow from the kayak. The report is a few days late, 1st time editing the gopro. It's a pretty bad video capture with all the head bopping and motion. But enjoy.

Went out on a Thursday 7/2/2015 on a solo mission. Left the house at 3:30AM and got on the water by 6AM after 1 stop and parking the car. Water was flat and launch was easy. Water temp was 70 degrees. Bait was hard to make at first but at around 8AM, bait boil everywhere. Fly line macs, and First hookup was at 8:30AM, but lost it due to too much drag, braided line snap. Second hook 30 min later but the hook just pop off the mouth. Then finally 3rd hook at 10:20 ish, finally landed the yellowtail after 10 minutes of fighting the fish. It took me for a sleigh ride alright.

End Results, after 4 hours of traffic heading home. Tape out at 41inch, weight at 25lbs.
