I totally agree with how awesome Hobie treats is customers.
The only reason MakoBob is paying 500$ is because it is so late in the warranty period. I had a crack in my 2012 nearly a year ago, and Hobie had a brand spanking new 2014 ready for me in about a week at no cost! Sadly no awesome 2015 seat, but I will take the easy FF install over nothing! MakoBob, one thing I will mention is STRIP that kayak hull down! Hobie does not care about getting anything back but the hull (make sure not to damage the serial number, that's the only thing they actually care about), when mine was replace I took EVERYTHING.... Hatches, bungies, rigging, if it could be easily removed.... it was. Enjoy the new ride! |
