Shores TResidents will meet to discuss aquatic businesses
The attached article came on the recent La Jolla Light issue about a very important meeting by La Jolla Shores Association scheduled for next Wednesday.
When Leo started kayaking many years ago there were no kayak outfits and it was a breeze for local kayakers to launch, park, and just enjoy the ocean and fishing. He and I commented that these kayak outfits take more and more of our beach for their kayaks and customers than what we residents are allowed to use. I believe it is in everyone's interest to attend this meeting and let your voices and concerns be heard as the decision taken during this meeting will impact how these business will operate for the next few years. Please get involved. Warmest regards to all, Georgette de Terrero P.S. I uploaded the article, not sure if I did it correctly...if you don't see it please email me at gdeterrero@earthlink.net and I will send you the PDF. |
