Good End to My Rockfish Season

I'll keep it short for you guys. Went out of Newport today, got to fishing around 9 am, and the weather was absolutely incredible. Would've had on the water photos but I was having GoPro issues. Anyways, was still a great day, it felt like summer. Fishing was good too, I kept 3 reds, 2 barberpoles, 1 honeycomb, 1 copper, and 1 treefish. Ended up releasing like 10 or so reds that were a bit on the small side. The bite shut off at around 1130 after the tide swing. Overall, a great way to end my season.

By the way, for you guys wanting to get out of newport for those rockfish, the next couple of days should be good, weather wise and the tides look good too.

Here's a hint too, look between 185-205 ft of water.

Good luck and a have a Happy New Year!
