DP 11/17 slow day

I launched for a late (LTS calls it gentleman's fishing hours) session, in the water by 11, off by 5. Beautiful day, sunny, light cool breeze, 64° water, 2' swells, mild chop, and the best part.. all the tourists are gone. I fished some cut and whole squid near the harbor entrance, nothing but a lizardfish and a perch wanted to play. I made some big fat Spanish Macs before I paddled for the headlands. Small hits on the squid over there but nothing stuck. I was back in the harbor around 3:30 drifting the macs for nothing.

All in all a very relaxing day, happy to be on the water.
