la jolla dueling banjos

I went out Saturday and pick these guys up. estimated 24-28 lbs. Both put up a good fight. They certainly were not giving them away, I logged 13 miles on the gps, spent 2 hours making bait and another 5-6 hours of avoiding seals, barracuda, birds and clueless boaters. I had a tank with squid, Spanish and greenback mac's and sardines. The first one fell for the old squid on the hook routine and the second got hornswoggled by the Spanish mac.

Thanks Dave for the otw shot.
pic on the bottom was the first fish of the day and the smaller of the two
