I had a couple hours to kill this morning so I hit do, launching at 4:45. Caught this bad girl at around 7:15. 43 " and 31 lbs. (DFW measurements) Eight inch jack Mac on the dropper. No finesse needed. She inhaled it and other than one long run she came in pretty easy. Perfect gaff shot and she remained pretty quiet. No very thick fish. Caught one a few months ago one inch longer but weighed over 40.
