Too many choices for the new rod

Went to Turners today looking for a new stick for my Diawa LW 20H-C. I found several sticks that seemed decent but nothing really put it's hands down my pants and grabbed me in that way that says, yea, I'm what you're looking for.

I'm looking for something light weight, 6.5 to 7.5 feet fast action. Wanting something that will be able to rip big calicos out of the weeds, small to medium yellowtail, legal WSB, Halibuts ect. Ya know, kind of a daily driver of So Cal yak fishing (Yes I'm asking a lot of out a stick aren't I?)

So my guru of the yak and fishing So Cal off shore. What's your "GO TO"? And I'd like to keep it under $200.00 if at all possible. I'm not made of money and I can't get women to pay me for sex.
